Revierpark Mattlerbusch

In the northernmost part of Duisburg, bordering Oberhausen and Dinslaken, there is an outstanding recreational jewel that remains virtually undiscovered by out-of-town visitors. The Revierpark Mattlerbusch offers a highly attractive range of leisure and recreational activities – and not just for families.

The green oasis

The Revierpark Mattlerbusch is one of the finest parklands and woodlands in the Ruhr region. Secluded footpaths, ponds and biotopes allow visitors to forget the hectic pace of everyday city life. Leisure activities including pony riding, picnicking, football and basketball are especially popular with families.

The starting point for exploring the Revierpark is the old rural Mattlerhof grange. Today it is a popular inn with a welcoming beer garden in the inner courtyard.

Niederrhein-Therme

One very special highlight and attraction for those in need of rest and relaxation is the Niederrhein Therme. People come from near and far to enjoy the various saunas, brine pool, salt cave, wave pool, whirlpools, bubbling water jets and a palm tree garden – the relaxing atmosphere is almost like being on holiday! The kids aren’t left out either: the sessions in the children’s salt cave and sauna are lovingly turned into an event by professionals.
