This record shop by the Schäferturm was one of the first shops in Duisburg to buy and sell records. To this day, it only sells second-hand records and there is a very big selection.

Die Schallplatte
Since 1954
Die Schallplatte is not only the oldest record shop in Duisburg, but also the whole of Germany. It is also a key location on the so-called German Football Route NRW, because this is where the Zebra Twist, Germany’s oldest stadium anthem, was exclusively sold in 1964.

Besides films and games, Andrä also has a large music section. The vinyl selection is constantly being expanded. There are currently more than 6,000 LPs here.
