Insights into the world of the industrious honey gatherer

The Bee Museum run by the Duisburg District Beekeeping Association is a popular destination for schools, kindergartens, clubs and groups. In addition to numerous visual aids, visitors can also observe living bees in a glass display case and study the behaviour of the queen and worker bees. The exhibits document the development of honey production over the centuries, from the honeycomb press to the electric extractor. In 2013, the Bee Museum moved to a pavilion on the site of the Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium and the exhibition was redesigned in the process.
