A wide-ranging cabaret programme
DIE SÄULE cabaret theatre stages around 100 shows each year from the world of cabaret, literature, theatre (ranging from comedy to solo performances) and music (from chanson to jazz and rock ‘n’ roll).
Many notable cabaret artists (such as Gerhard Polt, Max Uthoff and Sebastian Pufpaff) and actors (including Marianne Sägebrecht, Francis Fulton-Smith and Christian Kohlund) regularly take to the stage here to present their latest shows, sometimes exclusively for the venue. In addition, the in-house BEST AGER amateur theatre group stages an entertaining premiere each year and the ‘independent scene’ contributes to the diversity of the programme with improvisation shows, jazz and book readings, among other things.
People can secure their seat in the audience by means of various subscriptions. The programme is published three times a year.
At prices ranging from 10 to 16 euros, an evening at Die Säule is affordable for everyone.
