Radio Museum

This large collection of around 350 wirelesses, some of them still in perfect working order, shows the nascent days of radio from 1923 onwards. Old and sometimes quite exotic tape recorders and record players are also on display.

Stories from the past and present

Radio collectors founded the Radio Museum Duisburg in 1994 as part of a private initiative. This large collection of around 350 wirelesses, some of them still in perfect working order, shows the nascent days of radio from 1923 onwards. Old and sometimes quite exotic tape recorders and record players are also on display.

Everything is clearly and lovingly presented. For instance, a room from the early years of radio has been recreated, in which the wireless still occupies a prominent position as a quality piece of furniture in its own right.
